In my research, I investigate how low-cost, ecologically valid behavioural interventions, particularly physical exercise, can induce neuroplasticity and improve cognitive function. I use EEG and neuropsychological assessment to identify markers of intervention-driven brain change, with the long-term aim of developing scalable approaches for neurological rehabilitation. My doctoral work examined the neurocognitive effects of music and music-exercise combinations, with applications ranging from divergent thinking and sustained attention to post-stroke spasticity symptoms and electrophysiological biomarkers of Parkinson's Disease.
