Internship within the Bachelor`s degree

In the internship, the students should acquire a comprehensive, in-depth insight through fundamental practical experience in at least one selected subject-related professional field or application context corresponding to the desired university degree. It is recommended to complete the internship in the 4th semester, an earlier start is possible. The internship is completed during the semester break.

The students look for their internship in coordination with the module officer. The job-related internship must include at least 8 weeks of full-time work. We recommend a total of 12 weeks (full-time). Work-related internship achievements that exceed the specified minimum scope can be credited in the elective area upon application to the examination board, but up to a maximum of the recommended total scope. Only full weeks are recognized here.

If it is still possible to achieve the qualification goals, the internship can be divided on request if the duration of an individual internship part is not less than 4 weeks, or it can be stretched in time in individual parts. After the internship has been completed in coordination with the module officer, an internship certificate must be submitted showing the time, duration, type of internship and the field of activity as well as the supervision.
